SATURDAY CRITTERS

I was walking along the coastal path going towards Stricklands Glen, when I photographed this Oystercatcher on the rocks.

  3. I'm wondering if that bird's species is oyster catcher or if it is a special breed of crane? We have white cranes here, it seems they are fishing all day long. I've not watched long enough to see what they are catching.
