WILD BIRD WEDNESDAY - Malawi

While I was watching the beautiful sunset fall over Lake Malawi, I suddenly saw this Hamerkop, Dove and Little Egret on the beach and although they are all basically in silhouette, I thought the images were lovely.
I am linking with Wild Bird Wednesday.

Many thanks or visiting and also for all your comments.

  1. How beautiful! They are just lovely!!! With just the palest shade of blue and pink water in the background.

  3. I think there's a competition in the making for birders there Margaret. The Hamerkopf is very distinctive, but only if you've been to Africa.

  4. I couldn't agree more ... the silhouettes are lovely and an interesting silhouette of the Hamerkop. I don't believe I have seen one before. Hope all is well with you Margaret ... it's been awhile and I am still swamped with many things, but I think of you often.
