I have always heard or read of eider ducks, but did not know what they looked like... lovely birds...I especially like the wing-flapping one!

Eiders are such contrasting but pretty ducks, male or female. And I just love their calling at this time of year.
ReplyDeleteEider are great birds - loved watching them when I lived in the NE - used to see them a lot around Holy Island.
