SATURDAY CRITTERS

Time again for SATURDAY CRITTERS and these images are of a pair of Eider ducks I photographed down at my old caravan at Whiterock, Northern Ireland.

    Beautiful images of a magnificent species which aren't found in Australia. I also haven't seen Eider ducks in France, but that is not to say that they're not there.

    I have always heard or read of eider ducks, but did not know what they looked like... lovely birds...I especially like the wing-flapping one!

    Eider are great birds - loved watching them when I lived in the NE - used to see them a lot around Holy Island.
