Last
week a group of us travelled by train to Dublin to see the Caravaggio Exhibition at the National Gallery of Ireland and afterwards we had time to walk round St
Stephens’ Green Park where we saw the lake with this fence.
I am linking to GOOD FENCES.
We
all found this sculpture entitled “Famine” by Edward Delaney very sad.
On
the other side of the lake was a pavilion with a fence.
Many
thanks for visiting and also for leaving comments.
Awesome pics.
ReplyDeleteThat fence, and the little gazebo out in the pond look exactly like our duck pond!! We even have the swans. What a sad sculpture...
ReplyDeleteWhat a charming lake and I so love swans, thank you for sharing dear Margaret !
ReplyDeleteWishing you a lovely remainder of your week,
I'm sending blessings to you,
XOXO Dany
Stunning scupture in number two photo, I love it.
ReplyDeleteI would have liked to see the Caravaggio Exhibition Margaret. I guess you weren't allowed to take photos? Never mind a spot of birding and a pleasant walk in the park must have been lovely.
ReplyDeleteFamine is heartbreaking.
ReplyDeleteHello, pretty pond. The ducks and swans are pretty. The sculptures are interesting. Happy Thursday, enjoy your day!
ReplyDeleteNice park, but I agree the sculpture is sobering.
ReplyDeleteLovely fence. Thanks for joining
ReplyDeleteI've been pretty slack on the blogging lately, but enjoyed visiting your corner of the blogging world and reading about you in your profile. We are so blessed, and it's hard sometimes to be reminded how many people are starving in this world and need our help...
ReplyDeletePretty lake scenes!
ReplyDeleteHope you are having a great day!
What a sobering statue.
