Sunday Thought

Even the sparrows and swallows are welcome to come and nest among your altars and there have their young,
O Lord of hosts, my King and my God!

How happy are those who can live in your Temple, singing your praises.

Happy are those who are strong in the Lord, who want above all else to follow your steps.

Psalms 84: 3- 5

  2. HI Ginny Many thanks for your kind comment and Happy Mother's Day to you. It is NOT Mother's Day here in the UK, we had that on 30 March. I was looking up a web site that told you the origins of Mother's Day and thought you might like to know it had Christian origins. The web site is http://www.followuk.co.uk/mothers-day.
    Have a great day.

  10. Hi Margaret, I love watching the nesting birds this time of year. In fact, I'm a new Bird Grandma.... My Bluebirds fledged yesterday--and I got a photo of one of them. I think there are 4 in all. Mom and Dad are busy feeding and taking good care of them. We all need to learn from the birds, don't we?

    Hugs,
    Betsy
