Ducklings at Mount Stewart Lake

Well, what’s not to love about these cute little ducklings. I photographed them last Sunday while walking round the beautiful lake at Mount Stewart Gardens, near Newtownards, Northern Ireland.  They are of course Mallard Ducks and Mama and Papa had 13 pretty offspring this year.  There is a short video of them at the end of this post.  Enjoy.

  3. Amazing shots - and a video too - do those ducklings all belong to those two or are they fostering ducklings - some ducks do this I think? Jane UK

  23. Thirteen babies? That they raised successfully? Those are spectacular parents... And probably tired parents too.
