Mount Stewart Flowers

I visited Mount Stewart Gardens in Mid March and I do have a lot of photographs to show you in the future, however today I am posting a few of the flower shots that I have experimented with.  I wonder which ones (if any) do you like.

Above and below are Camellias.

This is the original Hellebore photo.

This is the original Camellia photo and
the remainder are all edited in various ways.

This is the original Camellia photo above of the two edited below.

Did you like any?

If so, do you have a favourite?

I prefer bloggers to be honest in their opinion.

Many thank for visiting.

Many thanks for those people who kindly leave comments on any of my posts.

  1. While I appreciate the skill in editing, I think I prefer the natural images. The hellebore is stunning - as are the camellias.

  5. OK, my likes are 2, 5, 6, 10, and 13. #2 the red camellia and leaves looks so soft, #5 the orig. pink camellia is just so pretty in it's natural state, #6 the close up of the interior resembles a crowd of people standing looking down at something not just the inside of the flower, #10 the black and white, and #13 the edited red camellia with more black in the background is just plain cool and actually changes appearance by the way you look at it up close or farther away. Just my opinion but I agree with Elephant's Child that I prefer natural images too.

  10. My favorite is original Hellebore photo--so exquisite! The shots in the sidebar (of you?) with bird in hand are so delightful.

  11. Whatever process you used on the last two is really cool, so those two would be my favorites. The camellias I'm also smitten with as it thrives like crazy here in Louisiana.
