Dearest Margaret; Good Morning from Japan. While having breakfast we saw your wonderful picture and wondered what is the long thing under its neck. I checked with pc and goggled the picture page of Rhea. Got it!!! Its a long neck of the camel bird kind p;) BTW, "Rhea" sound same as 'rare' in Japanese. Thank you very much for the rare (Rhea) bird for me:-)

What a sharp, good picture! I have seen these in a driving safari. They look a bit like ostriches, but are stockier.
