Fox on the Isle of Wight

Earlier this week I did a post about the birds I found at Hersey Nature Reserve when I was on the Isle of Wight in March.  However today I am showing you what Eileen spotted one day during the winter and managed to get a short video of this Fox.  In fact there were a pair that day however they were never in the same video shot.  As I am away on Copeland Island this weekend without internet, I am posting now.    I am linking this post with Saturdays Critters.

You can access the video at

If there is a black space below, click it and the video will appear.

Thank you for visiting and many thanks to Eileen  (I.O.W.) who graciously shared the fox photo and video.  Also to Eileen (USA) for linking it up for me.

Many thanks for those who left comments on any of my posts.

  2. This fox looks hot on the trail for some food. He must have kits somewhere.

  14. A really good video of a beautiful animal. I know that many people have nothing nice to say about foxes, but I think they are amazing. I read in National Geographic a while back that we are not far away from having foxes as pets. There are groups that have been working on it for years. I guess it takes an incredible number of generations before the wildness is bred out of them. I'm not sure if that is a good thing or not.
