Yesterday I showed you the wonderful Birds, Butterflies and Dragonflies I found at Newtown Saltmarsh, on the Isle of Wight. As I walked on the boardwalk to the hide, I took these photographs and have experimented a bit with them.
Have you got a favorite, just one?
I hoped you enjoyed seeing these photographs and I would love to know your favorite and why.
Thank you for visiting.
Wow, what the amazing find! love your photographs, Indeed.. the reflection looking beautiful and clear..Hi Marget, now you avoid me pls tell me, why?
ReplyDeleteHi ER Many thanks for your comment and glad you liked the reflections however I don't know what you mean when you say I am avoiding you!!
DeleteI glad that you visiting at my post and thanks so much for your lovely comment, I mean, MA....from few days..you are not visiting at my blog, so, Hope you’d want to visit again. .
DeleteHI ER My priority of blogs that I visit are with Nature content and as my time is now very limited, I reply firdly to those ones and alhtough your posts are very interesting and scenic they must come second to my nature interest.
DeleteThey are all lovely - I was going to pick the first one but having seen them all my favourite is the penultimate one :)
ReplyDeleteHI RR MAny thanks for leeting me know your favorite, I appreciate that and many thanks for you comment.
DeleteI prefer the colour photos - which is odd, because often I don't, finding that moods are better encapsulated in black and white.
ReplyDeleteToday? The second last one, of the tree trunk and the bottle. I love the contrast between the vibrant green and the weathered wood. And the water and the fence just add to it.
HI EC Many thanks ro giving me your opinion and choise of shot that you like best.
DeleteVery creative Margaret! They are all lovely but I do like the last one particularly. Thanks for stopping by. I am afraid I don't know the name of my dragonfly yet, still searching.
ReplyDeleteHI Denise Many thanks for your kind comments and for letting me know which one you like best.
ReplyDeletethey're beautiful. i like the first few that look like a sail. :)
ReplyDeleteHI Tex Many thanks for making a choise of the oe that you liked adn thanks for comment.
DeleteWell spotted photo opportunities here Margaret. My preference is for #4, it looks like some sort of sinister mask!
ReplyDeleteCan I ask...how are you doing your B&W images, are you just converting the colour image to B&W?
The reason I ask is that I think they could be improved if you could give them a wider range of tones and maybe a touch more contrast...[;o)
I prefer the B&W rotated image of the first shot. It is tranquil yet interesting enough to print and have on a wall.
ReplyDeleteHI Adrian NOw I think I have pressed the publish button wihtour writing anything!! Many thanks for making a choise of the one that you liked and thanks for the very kind comment.
DeleteSimple and elegant!
ReplyDeleteHI EG Thanks for commnet.
DeleteMargaret, I admire your photos. Can you impress ... They are very beautiful. I love you and your wonderful pictures. Greetings.
ReplyDeleteLucia
HI Lucja Sorry you were able to choice a favortie but thanks for comment.
DeleteHi Margaret
ReplyDeleteI liked images 1&3 but felt the reflection gets a bit "lost" in the third image but it's still a good image. I liked image 4 the b&w shot as it made me look twice which is always the key objective fro an image, I personally feel.
In the next series of reflection images I liked 8 the most because of the blurring effect, however they're all equally as good.
But my favourite is image 11 with the bottle stuck on the tree, I feel the b&w image robs the image of it's impact as you can't see from the colour image what a lovely environment you're in and how out of place the bottle is..if that makes sense.
HI Douglas That was a very helpful assissmnet of my shots to me and I agree with you especailly on the last one. It has been an interesting experiment of me. Very many thanks for making the choises that you liked and thanks for comments.
DeleteOh this was easy.My favourite is undoubtedly the first one. I love the colour and the perfect reflection.Yes,that is the one for me.

DeleteSorry Ruth, I did not mean to write Ginny's name on your reply.
DeleteThree and four are my favorites today. Four looks like an old kite or a para glider, so interesting.
