Copeland extras

While I was waiting for the ferry from Copeland to take us to the mainland and with everything packed, including my camera, I suddenly saw a photo opportunity and had to unpack again!!

These are a few of the photographs I took
and experimented with.

Before I show you anymore, yesterday when I answered your comments, they ALL disappeared each time, (3 times I wrote them).  As I very much appreciate ALL those who take the time to make comments on my posts I would like to thank, Keith, Lynn, Tex, Ginny, Ruth, Debbie, Peter, Frank, Bob, Cheryl, Terri, Ursula and Carol for leaving comments yesterday.

I know you all enjoyed the series I did on the Copeland Islands and I hope you will equally enjoy the series I am about to start on Rathlin Island when I took 11 people overnight to stay there.

Below is the stone wall that surounded the house.

Sundial

This is one of the stone tables that we set one of the telescopes on with a chair to sit on!

Thank you for visiting and I hope you will leave comments and I hope blogger has sorted out the problem of comments disappearing!!!

Please note that blogger has moved these next posts 'Rathlin Island Visited' (part 1 & 4) into the September achives!!

  17. Hi Bob, Ginny and Nora, Replies to your comments are still disappearing so trying to answer 3 at one time. As Bob said, this replies problem is a 'knotty' one!! The rope on the wall is an old rope off a large ship and now decorating the wall, The first photo of rope is as it was on the stone seat with light enhancement. Many thanks not only to the 3 mentioned here but everyone above who commented. I do appreciate them all. I hope everyone has a great weekend. Margaret

  24. Your first picture of the rope with the sun on it is just outstanding!!! Why is the rope laying there in a line? I love the dragonfly sundial. And the stone wall, you wonder what holds this kind together, they have no mortar or anything!

  25. Love the composition and lines of the third one! The B&W was a great choice.

  28. Lovely photos Margaret - really like the first one :) Sorry about problems you are having with Blogger - seems to have mind of its own at times. I've never been able to post links that work, or use italics or bold and at times it sorts my photos into a different order to the one I used - nightmare. I just try and keep my set up as simple as possible!!

    1. HI RR Ah well at least it I am no the only one having problems with blogger but sorry to hear your problems. On big problem and frustrating problem I have is that I usually have to put my photographs on backways!! So I have to try and think what will be last first and so on. Quite difficult I find. ANyway, many thanks for comment and glad you liked this post and in particular the first shot.
