WILD BIRD WEDNESDAY - Great Saltee Island (Part 3 )

These are some of the birds I saw on my evening walk at Kilmore quay before making the journey the next day to Great Saltee Island.  They are Herring and Black headed Gulls and a Meadow Pipit.

  4. Hi Margaret, You amaze me --having time to blog so much, visit other bloggers, go to Facebook, hike and travel so much... I guess I'm winding down or something because I have trouble getting it all INTO my busy life these days.

Love the photos today --and always... You are living the GOOD life....Blessings to you.
    Hugs

  6. Handy to compare my skylark shot with that one - skylark browner and whiter breast. I thought it was a meadow pipit at first

  8. Hi Margaret. You certainly show the size difference between a Black-headed Gull and a Herring Gull. The bigger gull is definitely a bit of a brute.
