Time
for Weekend Reflections and The Weekend Roundup and the letter is U and Unusual.
The first three images were taken in the greenhouse in the Walled Garden. As a
gardener, it is UNUSUAL that I have
never seen these plants before and truly the first one looks like a painting. The
next two images were found in the main garden and again UNUSUAL to me as I had never seen them nor know any of their names. Finally a REFLECTION image taken at the National Trust Property of Mount Stewart.
I hope you enjoyed this post today.
I appreciate your visit and
comments.
For a change it is the garden shots which take my eye this week - much as I love your reflection shot.
ReplyDeleteSome really great pictures, Margaret!!
ReplyDeleteSuch pretty flowers and you have such nice camera shots. My favorites are the second and fourth from the top. Very pretty reflection picture also.
ReplyDeleteI'm up here watching the lunar eclipse. The red moon was gorgeous red at it's near total eclipse at 3:02 AM Central Time. My pictures aren't fine at all, my Galaxy S8 nor my pocket Sony take good lunar pictures.
I have a picture for James again, a candid profile shot of me. I didn't know Mrs. Jim was taking it.
Gorgeous flowers, great photos. Have a great day!
ReplyDeleteWOW, these are totally amazing! Stunning, exotic, strange and wonderful.
ReplyDeleteSon muy vistosas las flores, me gusta especialmente la de la segunda fotografĂa.
ReplyDeleteLovely photos from the greenhouse. That environment should protect plants from freezing nights. Both your first and last photos are terrific.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! Such amazing shapes and colors as these flowers have.
ReplyDeleteThat first pic sure does look like a painting. WOW! Beautiful post!
ReplyDelete...my entire career was centered on growing and selling plants and I'm always amazing by what I don't know. Every day is a learning experience. Thanks Margaret for sharing this week.
ReplyDeleteThat first photo is like a painting! Lovely.
ReplyDeleteThe others I've seen in Hawaii.
Great reflection and beautiful flowers!
