WILD BIRD WEDNESDAY

This is a little pond that I always stop at as there are Kingfisher that nest in this area but I only saw a Little Egret that day.

    There was a time, not so many years ago, when a Little Egret would have been a surprise. It has become so commonplace it is easy to forget that it is a fairly recent colonizer.

    Beautiful pond ... an Egret would be great... if there were a Kingfisher, I would never get a picture..,they fly the minute I focus on them. It would be lovely to see their nest area!
