WILD BIRD WEDNESDAY

These shots were taken very early morning when I was on one of my walks.  They are Black Guillemots that have nearly got their summer plumage.
I am linking to WILD BIRD WEDNESDAY.

Many thanks for your visit and also for all your comments.

  1. Beautiful things - aren't they donning their summer attire a tad early? Or do they know something we don't?

  2. Fine portrait photos of these birds, another species with which I am unfamiliar. Do not think these come to the Midwest of the U.S.

  6. I would love to live in an area where I could take a walk and see Black Guillemots. I have to go to the east coast to see Black Guillemots and to the west coast to see Pigeon Guillemots. Both are a long way!
