Birds in Bangor

These shots were taken very early morning when I was on one of my walks.  They are Dunlin, Ringed Plover and there actually is one Purple Sandpiper in the first image. (front middle).  Unfortunately they were quite a distance away and these images are heavily cropped.

Many thanks for your visit and also for all your comments.

  1. I have never heard of a Purple Sandpiper. I guess they are not in this country.

  2. These birds look like they are struggling to keep warm in the chilly, damp breeze.

  3. The early walker catches the bird - which is a nice change from the bird and worm saying.
