This is an Egyptian goose and I will show you more images of it bathing tomorrow.  Last shot is a dragonfly.

  1. Nice post - it made me realise that I have not seen many dragonflies this summer. Strange.

  2. We recently had 3 Egyptian Geese in the area where they became a target for twitchers, even though everyone knows it is not a native species. But, I do quite like the bird despite its slightly exotic looks.

  4. Good to see these unusual geese, at least they are unusual here on the prairies of North America. Fine shots.

  5. Wonderful Dragonfly shot! We have no Egyptian Geese here, so I will be interested in more pictures. Are there many there? Are there flocks of them?
