These
are the Helmeted Guinea fowl both adults and juveniles. These juveniles are older than the last ones I
showed you when they visited our garden in South Africa
I
am linking to SATURDAY CRITTERS.
They
are having a dust bath.
Many thanks for visiting and also for your comments.
That last fellow is certainly colorful!
ReplyDeleteI love their blue heads.
ReplyDeleteAmazing looking critter.
ReplyDeleteHello, I like their colorful heads. The last shot is my favorite. Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Happy Saturday, enjoy your weekend. PS, thanks for the comment on my blog.
ReplyDeleteGreat photos and such interesting birds.
ReplyDeleteNice pics.
ReplyDeleteYou gotta love them, the Helmeted Guinea fowl, precious.
ReplyDeleteI've never been around guinea fowl, but the ranch down the road has quite a number of them. I can hear them in the evening if it's a clear night. Nice shots. Especially the close up.
ReplyDeleteThey are pretty drab until you see the heads.
ReplyDeletesuch a beautiful critter...shining in that last picture!!!
ReplyDeleteThey are such lovely critters, and wow that face in your photo is just beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI love their blue and red heads! And they have such a beautiful feather pattern.
ReplyDeleteI couldn't help but think that these juveniles are in that gangly teenage stage.
ReplyDeleteIf you had not told me I would have guessed it was a grouse. I have not seen either a grouse or a guinea fowl. They have a contented look in your picture.
ReplyDelete..
Crazy looking birds!
ReplyDeleteGlad the linking in worked this week!
