Time
for Weekend Reflections and The Weekend Roundup. This week the prompts are B, Favourite and
New Beginning. So we have a BOAT moored to a BOLLARD on BANGOR Pier and also a BLACK Guilemot in winter plumage, a BIRD with a REFLECTION and a BLACKBIRD on a wall, a BLUE BENCH which had a plaque on it saying BERTIE'S BENCH and then these BEAUTIFUL red BERRIES and all these things I photographed in Ward Park. Then I photographed these BELLS on my way home and in my own garden I am showing you a BUD and BLOOM of my Christmas Cheer Rhododendron, and finally a Black and White shot of a NEW BEGINNING of a large Horse Chestnut tree which is my FAVOURITE.
Perhaps you have a different favourite?
Let me know if you have please.

I would love to know the story behind Bertie's Bench.
ReplyDeleteI am not sure who knows the story but there is also a red one and it has a name on it. they are children size benches but I was wondering would (in the future) be a good photograph for a story for your meme. What do you think?
ReplyDeletePerhaps it's just the person who provided funding... Lovely picture of the mallard.

I love the blues in your pictures. The boat is so pretty. And so pretty the way you captured the reflection of the mallard's head. The bench is very inviting.

Hi Margaret. My favorite is the pretty Blue fishing boat. It is well kept, ours around here on the Texas Gulf coast look as if they'd had better times. I also like your camel bells hanging out in the snow. I have a set of brass camel bells we purchased in Egypt. (We also road camels up to the pyramids.)
ReplyDelete..
I do love the blue bench - one like that would be lovely in my garden, too! Great bird shots as always.
ReplyDeleteI love the reflections and the blues in this post!
