Hello, Margaret, they are strange looking geese. The goslings are adorable. Great series of photos. Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Happy Saturday, enjoy your weekend!
I see that she has two bands. She must be part of a research study. Great goose and gosling portrait shots. She must not have been nervous about you and your camera.
We have one lone E. Goose in one of our parks here in Corpus Christi...they're silent [at least the one in our park is], but so attractive. Love the gosling!!
Hi Margaret, now sweet are the goslings. We visited friends this evening and their resident Egyptian goose came into the studio where the men were working. Thanks for sharing. Have a great day. Jo
Such dramatic birds. The adults look a little as if they have black eyes...
ReplyDeleteThey are very unusual looking! So I am guessing they live mostly in Egypt...or else originated there.
ReplyDeleteWonderful shots of the bird.

I wonder if they are as unpopular as our Canada geese are.
ReplyDeleteThey are sure beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThey are very striking with that brown feathery eye patch. So different.

ReplyDeleteHello Margaret!:) It's an attractive goose, and the gosling is sweet. We see them in our parks too, and sometimes by our shores.
ReplyDeleteWonderful pictures. Once again, through the power of blogging, I get to see a bird,I would otherwise never see.
