Lake Near Helen's Tower (Part 2)

This post follows on from yesterdays’ one and also shows the Swans but also Mallard and Moorhen.  These were photographed when I was out with my bird group near Helen's Tower.  Enjoy.

  9. You know I like the lovely pattern on the teenagers feathers. But I actually think today my favorite is the picture of just the beautiful brilliant blue water, picture 4. Glorious.

  10. You always capture some amazing scenes, Margaret. I've always love seeing the beautiful swans and the Mallard is a beauty, too. But today, the amazing sky reflection on the water steals the show! Love it!

  11. Loveley shots--- but there's always something about Mr. and Mrs. Mallard that seems so sweetly domestic...

  12. The young swans will soon get driven off by their parents Margaret now they are getting big like that.
They are quite vicious about doing it as well.
