Like yesterday as I was coming home from church I wanted
to see if there were many birds down by the sea however there weren’t, only
these Common and Black headed Gulls and Starling. As I have broken a finger in 2 places on my right hand (the one I use most) and it is splinted up and have been told to rest it more (which I have not done) I now find it is still quiet painful and for a short while am not going to comment as much although I will still read your posts and try to rest it more so that it will heal quicker. Hope you understand.
I am linking this post with WILD BIRD WEDNESDAY.
Many thanks for your visit and also to all who leave comments.
Common they might be, but no less lovely...

Beautiful captures Margaret. Resting is a sensible thing to do. I hope it heals well.
ReplyDeleteHello, Wonderful shots of the gulls and starling. Have a happy day and week ahead!
ReplyDeleteLovely photos Margaret. Sorry to hear about your broken finger - hope it heals quickly - resting is probably the best thing for it.
ReplyDeletepretty gull. sorry for the finger.
ReplyDeleteOh dear Margaret, do take care with the broken fingers. Don't worry about commenting. You rest up. Blessings Jo
ReplyDeleteHi Margaret

Have a great Tuesday.

Common they may be, but still amazing ... Nice shots Margaret. Were these taken before the broken finger? I can only imagine how it feels to hold a camera and push the button. Have you been icing it to reduce the swelling ... that is usually the biggest cause of pain. I don't suppose you are telling how you managed to do this ... so so sorry. Hope you heal quickly :)

ReplyDeleteGreat bird shots especially of the starling!
Well, you obtained very nice images despite your impaired clicking finger!
ReplyDeleteLove that baby on the bottom. Oh my, how did this happen? How long until it is all well? NO, do not try to type any more. You can tell us after you have healed up. So sorry! And it is your camera and computer hand as well...
ReplyDeleteTHe black heads have taken their hats off early! The common gull is a very pure white, I must say.
ReplyDeleteOuch! Two places? No more keyboarding! I like these shots a bunch, by the way.
ReplyDeleteThat broken finger sounds painful. You take all the time you need to heal.
ReplyDeleteNice bird pics. Hope your finger heals fast!
ReplyDeleteWhen it's all better, and you can type, I want to know how you broke it! Rest it so you can hurry back!
ReplyDeleteCute Gulls. Sadly I don't see as many starlings these days.
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely Wednesday and rest your finger :)
