WILD BIRD WEDNESDAY

Before the children left Northern Ireland, they wanted to go to Ward Park again which is only 2 minutes’ walk from my home and on this occasion we discovered a Mallard duck with 8 ducklings.

  3. Mallards are very common but I always enjoy watching their antics at this time of year when there are ducklings around.

  13. You have to love the babies. My ducklings are further along in the process of growing up and now you can't tell them from the mother or vise versa. Baby time has passed for the most part, so it had to be fun for you to see how the children reacted to seeing these little ones. Have a wonderful week, Margaret ...
