GOOD FENCES - Great Saltee Island (Part 12 ) Gannet Colony and VIDEO

By now, bloggers following my posts know I am on Great Saltee Island without any fences so we will have to think a big ‘Out of the box’ today!!  So this first photograph was actually taken by Danny as I wedged my feet against this small wall/rock/fence to take shots of this Gannet colony and discovered some chicks in the process.  Enjoy the Gannet images and VIDEO with their young.

  1. Their face and beak markings are beautiful! And a wonderful fluffy chick! The pictures are really worth all the discomfort you had to go through to snap them, ouch! The closeup of the two together is definitely my favorite!
