Once again it is time for Friday’s Hunt and Weekend Reflections and this week the word prompts are the letter D, Favourite and Summer/ Winter. As most of you know by now, my family are home on holidays from Malawi and we have just come back from staying at my old caravan. It is in a field, all on its own in the countryside yet over looking the sea and although it has no facilities, we love it. These shots were taken around the caravan area.
A plus was that the weather, at least for these few days of SUMMER was brilliant. My FAVOURITE is the video at the end of this post.
D is for my DAUGHTER Judith and grandDAUGHTER Annika, and grandson DANIEL.
Over looking the caravan is Sketrick Island which is accessed by a causeway, so we walked round the island and saw 2 DONKEYS and picked a contain of DELICIOUS Cherries.
The children had bought a bag of jelly sweet and there were 4 tongues so they insisted we all had a photograph with our tongues sticking out!! DAFT!
At the sea there was a Little Egret with a refection.
When the children got home they made a bee line to see if Honey and Maple were OK in my sumerhouse. Four DARLINGS!

ReplyDeleteHi Margaret. Those donkeys are sooo cute. I haven't seen a donkey up close for ages. And see why those animals couldn't travel with them, they are huge! Our KP has a bed dog (a pillow) big like that.
