This is an ENERGETIC Annika, my granddaughter who is
visiting from Malawi. When we were down
at my old caravan at Whiterock last week, we visited a friend's farm and Annika decided to
BOUNCE on their bales.
We have just returned from spending 3 wonderful nights at Blessingbourne House and this is Judith and Daniel on the tennis court having a competition to see who can BOUNCE the ball the longest!!
Before leaving for Blessingbourne House, Annika painted my face and made me look like a bunny. Afterwards we when up into my loft and found this old fur and she made bunny ears, stuck a carrot in my mouth and then took the shot of this EEJIT - Moi. In Ireland this is the word used for an idiot!
Say no more!!
At Blessingbourne House we were responsible for letting the hens out in the morning and putting them to bed at night. Of course we had to also collect the EGGS and here is one freshly laid.
This is a shot I took when I went out by myself on the rowing boat and you can just see Blessingbourne House peeping through the trees. We have just arrived home from here and I have MANY more photographs and video clips I have to edit and show you in the future from this wonderful place.
I have only a few more days with my family now and I will be very sad to see them go again however I have many more memories of a wonderful time with them and the fun and laughter we have had together. I will leave you to pick a favourite this week.
Many thanks for visiting and to ALL who comment.
Oh my gosh! You are a hilarious, yet attractive bunny! You guys know how to have FUN! I like the bouncing contest and will now do it with my grandchildren. Your action shot is very good too.
ReplyDeleteYou are such a good grandmother. I am so very pleased you are having fun with your family.
ReplyDeleteAwesome post :-)
ReplyDeleteHi Margaret, I love you as a bunny; we also say eejit in our family; didn't know it was an Irish way of saying "idiot". I would love to say that you were my favorite, but Anneki pips you on that one! (but you were a close second!) Enjoy the last few days with your precious family. Blessings Jo

ReplyDeleteWell, Margaret. I loved them all but my favorite was one of you with the bunny face. It shows that Grandma is a real good sport for sure. I am back from my blogging break and catching up ever so slowly.

ReplyDeleteIt looks like you are having a wonderful time! I love the shot of your granddaughter bouncing. How fun! And you as a bunny is priceless! Thank you so much for joining Friday's Hunt. Hope you have a great week!
ReplyDeleteYour rabbit costume is my hands-down favorite this week! What a good sport you are, and I'm sure Annika enjoyed it so much. Can you believe with all the grandkids I have, not one photo could I find with a bounce in it! I created a post, even though it was too late for the link up when we got home.
