WILD BIRD WEDNESDAY - Pale -bellied Brent.

Our Pale –bellied Brent geese are still with us and feeding themselves up for their long journey back to breed in Eastern High Canada Arctic. Due to lack of time all these shots are SOOC. There were also some adult Herring Gull with a few juveniles, Oystercatcher and Rook. If you are interested in knowing more about these Brent and seeing better photographs and video I made a post previously which will explain this to you if you CLICK HERE.

I am linking this post with WILD BIRD WEDNESDAY.

Many thanks for your visit and also your comments.

  12. Thanks for sharing some nice images of the Pale-bellied so that I can make a direct comparison to the Dark-bellied that I regularly see here in the winter.

  16. Very attractive geese...I especially liked the photo of them with the red building/home behind in the background...it give the image a lot of Old World Charm.

  17. Geese in general are a handsome species ... the Brent Geese are unique to me as we don't have them here and I find them to be beautiful. I admire their migration skills ... I can't even imagine having the strength or the perseverance it would take to migrate the way they do. Great shots, Margaret ...
