Martin, Marie and I saw this Turtle when we stayed at Kruger
National Park in 2014. Fridays’ Hunt
words are the letter L for the Lilac -breasted Roller from South Africa, Weeks' Favourite of a cobweb and a Lace handkerchief which belonged to my Granny and has Irish Shammrocks on it. She gave it to me when I was a little girl and I have kept it ever since.

What a beautiful bird and spider canvas (?)
ReplyDeleteGreat reflection of the turtle on the log that looks abit like an alligator! But the turtle looks like it needs a good cleaning...
ReplyDeletethe piece of wood the turtle sits on also looks like a critter :)
ReplyDeleteThose are amazing shots! Love the colors of the bird, and that web is amazing with the water drops! Thank you so much for joining Friday's Hunt.
ReplyDeleteAmazing captures! The turle almost looks like it's sat on a crocodile's head. The bird so colourful and the web is like a shawl just as delicate as the beautful shamrock lace below. Have a lovely week :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful series of images Margaret. .. The colours on your bird are truly fabulous, the spider web as lacy as the kerchirf, how nice to have such a lovely memento from your Granny.
ReplyDeleteThe spider web is gorgeous!
