Moorhen
Now
if I have to choise a favourite it probably would be this Teal above.
How about you?
Below
is a new structure built for Sand Martins to nest in hopefully this year and a small pond for the
birds to drink or bathe.
I hope you enjoyed my photographs for both these memes.
Thanks for visiting and also to all who leave comments.
Très bonne idée pour ce mur à Martin pêcheur ;-)

Love the colours of the teal - and its perky little butt.
ReplyDeleteBoth birds are beautiful but I agree with you that if I have to choose, it will be the Teal!
ReplyDeletebeautiful as usually

ReplyDeleteBrilliant wall for the Sand Martin, let's be hopeful that they used it.
ReplyDeleteDefinately the Teal ... what an elegant bird and what a wonderful set of pictures of him. They are all good, but the Teal is exceptional :)
ReplyDeleteAndrea @ From The Sol
the Teal is a very beautifyúl duck :)
ReplyDeleteGreat set of pictures. I agree, the Teal is my favourite.
ReplyDeleteI love your bird-pictures!
ReplyDeletepeaceful sights of nature
ReplyDeleteThe teal is sooo pretty, Margaret, and a wonderful photo as well. The small sanctuary area looks really good.
ReplyDeleteWe have gulls and doves and pigeons, just a few, that come to drink from the flat area at the tiop of our spa 'pour over'. That can't be good for them, drinking the chlorine warter. I don't want to attract them with a bird bath. Haven for them, catch 22 for us. (Guess I should be glad there aren't any fish in the pool for them. :} )
p.s. HAPPY EASTER !!!
ReplyDeleteThe structure for the sand martins is a good idea and the teal is a handsome duck.
ReplyDeleteHappy Easter.
All of the birds are pretty, but that teal is amazing! It's certainly my favorite. What a nice new structure for the birds to use. Thanks so much for joining me in Friday's Hunt.
ReplyDeleteSuch a pretty moorhen. This is a bird i have never seen! Very cute
