WILD BIRD WEDNESDAY - Birds in Maggie's Garden Blantyre, Malawi

While in Malawi the last time my daughter Judith took me to isit a missionary friend Maggie and I was able to look round her garden and also see this tailor (below)making items that she sells to bring in some money for other needy people.

This is a Pied Crow that entertained me.

I found a huge nest of a Hadidas. If you wish to see this bird that I posted recently, CKICK HERE.

I hope you enjoyed Maggie's garden today.

Thanks for your visit and also to all who leave comments.

  2. Oh wow, Maggie's garden is so beautiful and restful. I love the tailor. And the pied crow is neat - taunting the other crow! You know, Margaret, I can see a huge nest in a tree in my neighbor's garden. I wondered what it was - now I'm sure it's also a Hadeda's nest! Have a great day. Jo

  4. The pied crow is like a magpie with no tail, or a hooded crow with white bits instead of grey. Very smart bird.

  7. They always look like they're wearing undershirts! I expect one to scream "Stella!" instead of cawing... Very nice shots, Margaret.
