WEEKEND REFLECTIONS - Lifupa Conversation Lodge (Part 14 )

As I mentioned yesterday, there was often a mist in the early morning but I quite liked it as it was  always peaceful with the Hippos popping up and down in the water.  They had quite a number of calves.

  5. Wow .... this seems really, really nice to see the Hippos. In the Netherlands we only see Hippos in the animal gardens. I viond your photos really very beautiful and unique.

  12. november is always vers misty in my region... but there are no Hippos. I'd like to see a Hippo in Austria ;-)

  21. I did enjoy it so much Margaret. Amazing series of shots. I'm guessing you were using a long lens a safe distance away from the hippos, they move surprising fast for their bulk oui. Always makes me a wee bit homesick for Africa ooking at your Images :)
