WEEKEND REFLECTIONS - FISH POND at Huntingdon House

While we were being shown the inside of Huntingdon House at Satemwa Tea and Coffee Plantation,(CLICK HERE to see that post), the 3 children were outside and unbeknown to us had been given bread to feed the goldfish in the pond. They were so intent on doing this and watching the dozens of fish, they never noticed me standing right opposite and photographing them.

It took me a minute or two to realise that not only were they feeding the fish but eating the bread themselves!!

Now doesn’t this shot of Annika my granddaughter say it all!!!

I am linking this post to WEEKEND REFLECTIONS

I hope you enjoyed this post and tomorrow I am finishing my time at the Tea and Coffee Plantation by showing you Blue Monkeys I saw there.

Thank you for visiting and also to those people who leave kind comments.

  7. How much fun is that! I bet they enjoyed that immensely. Who says kids need electronic gadgets to be happy? This is enjoying childhood as far as I'm concerned.

  23. And they are so intent on the fish, that I bet they didn't even notice the lovely reflection or you ... but then, I think Annika has a look of "oh, you caught me eating the fish's bread :). She is so adorable and I love the red curls. Don't you wish you could sit at the side of a pond like that ... It would take three poeple to get me up, Ha! Great post, Margaret ...
