Evening Bird Walk at Groomsport

The Bangor group of the RSPB always go for an evening walk in August to look to see what birds are around the village of Groomsport, followed by supper at a restaurant.  Although we saw 25 different species during our walk, I did not manage to capture many on camera.  These are the shots taken that evening.

You might be interested to look at the post entitled 'Expect the Unexpected' on 7 August when I told  you about the Terns nesting on the island behind these yachts, however that evening, (1day later) all of them including the young had all left the island.

Finally, just before we reached the restaurant, I spied these Swallows sitting on the wire.
