Looking Puffin in the eye!

I wonder how many of you seeing the title thought Puffin was a bird!!  Well for this post, you would be wrong. While at Vi's garden (see yesterday's post), I visited one of Vi's horses.  She was in the stable yard and had laryngitis.  She is such a sweet horse and cuddled up to me.  I could have stayed with her all day and perhaps someday I will be able to take her, (well more like her take me!) for a ride.

Do you see me?  Well I wanted into the photo too!

This is not one of Vi's horses but one I saw in another field that day.
 He was very friendly also.

I came upon these photos yesterday of me riding  a friends horse in Australia last year and thought I would add them in here.

I must have taken a photo when I was on the saddle.

At Vi's I walked over the fields and these are some of their
continental beef cattle below.

Then I saw Vi's other horse Kells.  She had been put out to pasture and Vi always insists she does her excercises before she has any fun!

Watch the video to see what I mean. Well I thought it was funny anyway!!

I hope you enjoyed this different type of post.

 Thanks for visiting.

Tomorrow we will be visiting Australia as it will be Wild Bird Wednesday.

However, I still have more the share with you from Vi's garden and their cottages so that will probably be Thursday and Friday.

MANY THANKS TO ALL who left comments on any of my posts yesterday.

  4. Nice equine theme for today's post Margaret. The routine that Kells was going through looks just the same as the one I use to enable me to get up after crawling around in the undergrowth taking insect pictures!!...[;o)

  17. Pretty horses! I'd love to go horseback riding again.

You asked me what SOOC means on my last post. It's Straight Out Of the Camera. In other words, no editing of the photo of any kind was involved.
