THROUGH MY LENS

On a cold, very dull day last December I stopped at the Flood Gates at Strangford Lough near Newtownards and photographed this Little Egret.  Tomorrow I will show you what other birds I found there.

  6. I can remember when Little Egrets were rare enough to cause a flurry among birders in the UK. It's not so long ago either.

  11. Wonderful photos! I really enjoyed the bird photos they are so pretty! I like the reflection one and I wish we had Little Egrets here. We had one egret come here last year and it was rare for us.
