Flowers to Brighten Your Day.

I am taking a little break from my Tory Island posts (hopefully resumming them next week) as I have not had time to deal with all the photos and video.  So this week I will be showing you a mixture of "Bits and Pieces".

Today these are shots I took from my garden and then I had a bit of fun with them. Let me know which one, if any you like.  Enjoy.

Well I hope you liked at least one of them but that does not matter as I had fun experimenting with each shot.

SATURDAY CRITTERS Tory Island (Part 6)

These are not many animals on Tory Island however this first dog must have taken a shine to me and followed me quite a distance from his small town nearly to my hotel.  I then told him to go home and he did! (much to my surprise)

Although this dog has a long fur coat,
you can see just how windy it was on Tory Island.

These are more images of the geese I showed you on Thursday.

This is the only cat I saw.
Perhaps, if they had any sense, they were all indoors!

GOOD FENCES - Tory Island (Part 4)

I found this Canada Goose in someone’s back garden along with these other Geese.  The Canada Goose had laid 3 eggs however I do not know if they were fertilised.  Later on (you will see it next week I will show you another or perhaps the same Canada goose was on a lake on Tory Island.

I just got back to the hotel before the rain came on but I missed photographing a glorious double rainbow as I was so intend in taking photos of the geese as well as showing some young boys them.

Tory Isand (Part 3)

On Monday, when I started this 2 week series of Tory Island (Part 1), i mentioned I would show you more photographs of the Lighthouse and today that is what I am doing.  Chris adn I were very fortunate to go inside the gate and that was becasue the 6 men that came over in the boat were sent to fix the light.  These are shots taken as we walked round the enormous site.  No more words needed, just enjoy.
