WILD BIRD WEDNESDAY

This is a Mute Swan and Black headed gull which I photographed at Kiltonga Nature Reserve in Newtownards.

    The Swan is beautiful, but the Black Headed Gull seems mis named..

    Nice captures. I looked up Black headed gulls and I think this one is not a mature adult, right?

      NO it is an adult however this is it in its winter plumage, Just a dot on the head intead of a black head *it is actually chocolate brown!!
