Magnolia Flowers at Mount Stewart Gardens

This beautiful pink Magnolia was photographed at Mount Stewart Gardens  and the last image was made by children with the petals of a Magnolia flower and pine cones on the ground.

    Magnolia flowers are beautiful and smell even better. I love what the children did with the Magnolia peddles.

    We call these Japanese magnolias, but i think of them as "tulip trees" because the flowers almost look like tulips.
