WILD BIRD WEDNESDAY

These are three photographs, all taken at a great  distance and heavily cropped so quality is poor.  However I was very pleased to see them at Cattana Wetlands.  They are the Double - eyed –Parrot, the female Australasian Figbird and I wonder can you see the Comb – creasted Jacana?

WEEKEND REFLECTIONS AND THE WEEKEND ROUNDUP

Time for WeekendReflections and The Weekend Roundup and the letter H and Heavy. Three generations of HEADS, with three similar HAIRSTYLES, cut by three different HAIRDRESSERS.  This is my STREET PHOTOGAPH.  To illustrate HEAVY I am showing you the Global Mercy hospital ship that weighs 37.000 tones.  While in Tenerife we had the privilege of HAVING a private tour of this  newly commissioned ship of 11 stories.  Our family have all worked on a Mercy Ship in the past. I urge you to watch the video on the link below and you will be amazed at the hope and healing these ships bring to the people of Africa.

The first four images are different GROUPS.  The first one is taken on my 80^th birthday in Tenerife of my GRANDDAUGHTER Anna, my daughter GILLIAN and myself.  The second GROUP is taken at the volcanic mountain called Mount Teide in  Tenerife. The remainder of the images are taken at Cairns Botanical GARDENS in Australia.  Both photos show a GROUP of birders and I am using both for my STREET PHOTOGRPHY.  I leave you some more GORGEOUS flowers.
