Enjoy the great outdoors of nature and birds in particular.
In December I took my bird group to the Long Hole in Bangor and one of the birds we saw was a Turnstone.
I am linking to WILD BIRD WEDNESDAY
I hope you enjoyed this post today.
Lovely - and such bright feet and legs.
I especially like the last shot!
The Turnstone is a pretty bird, great photos! Take care, enjoy your day and the week ahead.
Well he certainly liked having his photo taken!
Fine this Turnstone posed so nicely for you. It seems to be enjoying its time on its vacation to the south.
I have seen a Turnstone one time only. And it was not turning stones, either.
That's a lovely bird. I was intrigued by the name, and was pleased to find they do in fact turn stones and other objects over to look for food.
Nice pics of the Turnstone. Love those orange legs!
