Time for Weekend Reflections and The Weekend Roundup and the letter D and Dull. During my visit to Australia, it nearly rained every day although there was also some sun but unlike Northern Ireland, the rain was warm! However this first shot shows that it is a DULL DAY when I started my journey to Cairns Botanical Gardens. Then we have a hybrid Mallard and two sleeping Black DUCKS however you can see that is was raining from the last two shots as I had rain on my lens. I was with a Bird Group but the DULL DAMP weather DID not DAMPEN our spirits. The final image is my REFLECTION shot.
I hope you enjoyed this post today.
I appreciate your visit and
comments.
It was undoubtedly very humid when it was not raining. Bleah.
ReplyDeleteLovely shots, and as always I really like the reflection.
I like the ones with the ducks snoozing in the pond...
ReplyDeletePretty views of the pond and ducks. Take care, have a wonderful weekend.
ReplyDeleteMargaret, good to see you are enjoying yourself in the warmth of Australia. Lovely bird photos.
ReplyDeleteI almost feel wet!
ReplyDeleteIt's a tie between your Reflections and your Ducks. Both are sooo good shots, I wouldn't know it was raining. Seems we both have Ducks, ours were enjoying a sunny afternoon. My dog looks worried.

...things can't be green without some rain. Thanks Margaret for sharing, enjoy your weekend.
ReplyDeleteLooks humid. I like the pictures.
ReplyDeleteThe sky can be a dull colour, that doesn't make it a dull day in the truest sense and i'm glad you all enjoyed it. Your photos are beautiful.
