In September two of my birding
friends, Ronnie, Lyn visited Dundrum Bay and I photographed Curlew
Sandpiper. This was the first time any of us had seen this species before
in Northern Ireland.
I am linking to WILD BIRD WEDNESDAY
I hope you enjoyed
this post today.
I appreciate your visit and
comments.
They are critically endangered here. It is nice to see that they seem to be doing well - somewhere.
ReplyDeleteHello,
ReplyDeleteIt is a cute bird, I am not sure if I have seen the Curlew Sandpiper. It looks so familiar. Take care, have a happy day!
Lovely photos of this beautiful bird. It looks happy finding food here.
ReplyDeleteI have not heard of this bird. Seems like a cross between two birds.
ReplyDeleteHow exciting to see one in the area you hadn't before. It's beautiful.
ReplyDeleteJoining you from Saturday's Critters! Fabulous shots of the bird in action!
