SATURDAY CRITTERS

On one of my walks into Ward Park, I photographed this Basset Hound, the many ducks and geese in the pond and this Greylag goose.

I am linking to SATURDAY CRITTERS.

I hope you enjoyed this post today.

I appreciate your visit and comments.

  1. The hounds always look so sad and tired.

  2. A pair of basset hounds lived next door to us. Goodness they were stubborn - and strong.

  5. Good Morning, Margaret!

Thank you for brightening up our soggy Saturday. That is quite a collection of waterfowl!

The Basset looks like me after a day of birding.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend.

  6. Basset Hounds are funny dogs. Your photos show the character of this one. I never see Gray Leg Geese without thinking of Konrad Lorenz who studied them to test his psychological theories.

  7. Bassets are cute. I've seen geese stand on the edge of a dam like that. It seems like a precarious place to stand.

  8. Nice to see so many interesting creatures on your walk.

  9. The few bassets i've known were very slow and very attention seeking.

The birds always look so busy, as if they have much to be about.
