THROUGH MY LENS

Only one unusual photograph today. This sculpture of the four fingers and thumb of a hand which appears to be sticking out of the ground, making a path to walk between them!  It is in Donegal, Ireland.

WEEKEND REFLECTIONS AND THE WEEKEND ROUNDUP

Time for Weekend Reflections and The Weekend Roundup and the letter is D and DAWN.  I DECIDED toDAY I would only post one  image of DAWN.  DAWN is the time that marks the beginning of twilight before sunrise.  This morning twilight period will last until sunrise (when the Sun's upper limb breaks the horizon), when DIRECT sunlight outshines the DISFUSED light.  We see the DARKNESS of the trees and shrubs on the water and the    light bursting through the night to give me a DELIGHTFUL and peaceful REFLECTION image.

I hope you enjoyed this post today.

GOOD FENCES

I liked this balustrade fence and sculptures.  It was the entrance to where my niece and nephew were taking me to lunch. I took it in Black and White.

WEEKEND REFLECTIONS AND THE WEEKEND ROUNDUP

Time for Weekend Reflections and The Weekend Roundup and the letter is C and Crack.  Now I found it a difficult photo to find for the word CRACK, however I think I have CRACKED it with the first shot.  I wonder CAN you COME up with what this shop is all about?  On one of my walks I   CAN across this large CRACK in this path and if we get a spell of COLDER weather the CRACK will be even wider. The next shot from the CAMERA shows the uneven cobble stones and the plant material growing between each CRACK.  A COMPLETE danger to walk on!  The final  image is a little video of CHILDREN hanging onto the side of a CAR that was CAREERING through the  water, CAUSING a wash from the CAR.  The CHILDREN are "throwing CAUTION to the wind"

Then my REFLECTION image just before we were handed our presents on CHRISTMAS day.

A number of bloggers have asked about the Teapigs tea bags I showed you last week and so I did a little research on it and the company that makes them.  I am glad to see that this company is trying to make a difference to climate change by manufacturing their product the way they do.  If you are interested in know a little more about them, click the links below.

SATURDAY CRITTERS

These are the three dogs we were looking over the Christmas period.  Smiley the Golden Labrador and Jingles, the 9 month old manic chocolate brown Labrador pup both of whom were just staying with us for 3+ weeks and then Dinky, the King Charles Spaniel who actually lived there on the Isle of Wight.  Quite a handful as it turned out.

WEEKEND REFLECTIONS AND THE WEEKEND ROUNDUP

Time for Weekend Reflections and The Weekend Roundup and the letter is B and Bicycle. I have started my walks around my town of BANGOR with my camera again and these images are what I found on this particular walk.  At the BANGOR Marina there were many BOATS and some had BLUE covers on their sails.  It was a BEAUTIFUL  BRIGHT sunny calm day giving me a BRILLIANT REFLECTION shot. Then I passed a BICYCLE on a wall, BETTY BLACKS nightclub and BESIDE it was BAILLIES' men and BOYSWEAR shop with a BLUE BUS outside it. Then I walked into Ward Park where there were BARE BRANCHES on the trees with another REFLECTION shot and lots of BIRDS.  Part of my Christmas present from my daughter in Australia was this lip BALM by BAUME Levres and finally some very special tea BAGS which I love.
