SATURDAY CRITTERS

These are Pale - bellied Brent Geese and there are 30,000 of them that winter in Northern Ireland.  Usually we see them on the water but perhaps they fancies a little change of diet!  I photographed these at dawn on one of my early walks.

  2. The geese are smaller than I'd expect--- based on the comparison to the gulls. Wonderful to see!

  7. Good to see these geese. We do not have Brant geese, but have many Canada geese and Snow geese. They do enjoy some fresh grass.
