Time
for Weekend Reflections and The Weekend Roundup and the letter is D and Dark.
Jon DROVE the whole family when it
was nearly DARK into Cairns Central
to go up on the big wheel called the Reef Eye.
By the time we arrived, it was very DARK
and the lights of the wheel stood against the DARK sky.
Above
is not a very good REFLECTION shot, however
as we are going round in the wheel ourselves, this is the wheel’s REFLECTION in the windows of the building
opposite us.
Below in the pod, is my DAUGHTER Judith with a DARK blue top on. We are holding on the central column and then we could spin the pod around as we moved.
Next Friday I am hoping to have one image to cover all that is asked of these 2 memes.
Thank you for visiting and I also for your comments.

The ferris wheel shots are stunning.
ReplyDeleteSuch a fun post! Have a wonderful weekend!
ReplyDeleteFine photos of the Farris wheel lights at night, and I like your Farris wheel reflections shot. Glad you were all having fun.
ReplyDeleteWOW!! You weren't scared? Did you get dizzy? I think I would have thrown up. You must have a very good balance center. It is so beautiful though. LOVE the reflection shot!
ReplyDeleteI like the wheel all lit up, but you wouldn’t ever find me on one like that, or any other ride.
ReplyDeleteWonderful night-time shots! A lovely one of your family. It's been a long time since I went on a Ferris Wheel.
ReplyDeleteSo pretty in the Dark all lighted with colors. I'm wondering how your Reef Eye compares to the London Eye?
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun time!
ReplyDeleteI am also having a problem linking up to Tom, but he has sweetly done both our links for us.
ReplyDelete...Margaret, that ferris is a gorgeous sight lite up in the dark. I don't think that I would be a fan of spinning! Thanks for sharing this week, make you week special.
