Since
arriving home from Australia I have taken my bird Group out and these
photographs were taken at the Long Hole in my town of Bangor. The first one is
a Black Guillemot in nearly winter plumage and the second is a Cormorant that we
watched for about 15 minutes trying to swallow this flat fish when unfortunately a Great Black Backed
gull came along, took the fish, swam to
the seaweed, landed it and had a feast.
There happened to be BBC TV cameraman there so it was on our local news
a few days after we saw this happen.
