WILD BIRD WEDNESDAY

These are the Grey Heron in flight and the Hartlaub’s Gull on the rocks which were photographed in South Africa.

  2. Is the Grey Heron the same species as the ones on the UK? If so, (and I think it is) its always strange to see a home bird on foreign turf.

  6. Nice set of photos. I seldom ever see sea birds so I am looking forward to October when we will be on the South Coast of RSA for a couple of weeks. Have a good week Diane

  7. gulls are are everywhere in these parts and i always enjoy seeing them. it reminds me of just how lucky i am to live by the coast!!!
