THE WEEKEND ROUNDUP and WEEKEND REFLECTIONS

Time for THE WEEKEND ROUNDUP and WEEKEND REFLECTIONS.  The letter today is O, favourite and one. So I hope you are ready for our walk today to see what we can find to fit in with these memes. We start just over the road from my house where there is a statue of the ONE and ONLY Amy Carmichael.

She was a Protestant Christian missionary in India, who opened an orphanage and founded a mission in Dohnavur. She served in India for 55 years without furlough and wrote many books about the missionary work there. This is a bronze sculpture of her when she was 10 years old by artist Ross Wilson.  It was unveiled on the 150th anniversary of her birth in December 2017.

We will walk down the High street to the pier but firstly I saw this sign which was a ONE stop print shop for all OCCASIONS and if you fancied stopping for a spa at OMEYA's, we will wait for you.

OOOPS! ONE lost ball in the harbour and some ORANGE buoys as well as the ORANGE lifebuoy ON the sea wall. Below is the OPEN sea beyond the harbour and a Herring gull with its beak OPEN.  The free standing ORANGE buoy is for donations for the RNLI.

Up the Main street I notice the O2 shop and the advert for the estate agents ON the gable wall saying they can be found ON line ON mobile or On Main Street.  Now I have a little shopping to do and in the store I photographed these 'O' items below.

I noticed these 2 books as I was leaving the store, ONE by Jamie OLIVER  and the OTHER ONE called The ONE.  Walking through the park i saw this ORNATE ironwork ON the blowling pavallion but the greens were not OPEN yet in the season.

I passed our ONE and ONLY Heron and a lady with bright ORANGE shoes feeding the pigeons. Then admired the beautiul ORANGE colours of the Golden Pheasant and hurried up to get home as the sky looked very OMINOUS however although there was ONLY half a rainbow God's promise remains true.

I will leave you with ONE more and a REFLECTION image but thanks for joining me ON my walk today and also thanks to all who leave comments.
