Nearly all this week for the past few days I have shown you the birds that I came across on my early morning walks in Ward Park which is 2 minutes from my home, however I often also see Grey Squirrels and at present they are madly collecting nuts
to store always for the winter.
I am linking to Saturday Critters.
Perhaps next week I will show you the birds I see when I walk down to the sea and along the sea front.
Many thanks for visiting and
also leaving comments.
Sadly today I cannot read the text. The white fades into the background. Love the squirrel though.
ReplyDeleteSorry about that. I schedule my post to go on at 6am before i am awake and recently Blogger has changed my text colout to that pale grey and sometimes that balck out the whole of the text!! it is not until I waken up that I can tell this as it looks OK in preview. I might try waiting until later to put it on. However it is on now
DeleteThose are big nuts! Great catch!
ReplyDeleteHi Margaret. I have mixed feeling about Grey Squirrels. They are very photogenic but are such bad guys that I many times think I shouldn't make other people like them by publishing pictures that make them seem cuddly.
ReplyDelete...what a cute little fellow!
ReplyDeletePretty little fellow, Margaret. Not everyone likes them. Mostly bird feeding folk as they steal the birds food. But squirrels have to eat also. Too, they make or find ways into attics We don't have them in our neighborhood as the oak tRees are young with no nuts for them.
ReplyDelete..
